Not all women enjoy wearing nail polish, and the colors people choose are as different as they are. For some women, nail polish is something they do for a pick up when they are feeling bad, and for others, this is something they do every day as part of their wardrobe. For a young girl, experimenting with nail polish is often a part of growing up. No matter why you choose to wear it, you should be choosy about where you buy it, and how much you pay.
A good nail polish will not be cheap. There are many great colors available for very little money, but just remember these brands won’t be very resilient. This doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t use them; it just means you should be prepared for it to chip in less than twenty-four hours. You may be able to find a good topcoat to stop this from happening, but even this may not help much.

When looking for a good nail polish in your local store, you should have a look at the higher priced bottles. I personally love Sally Hansen’s Hard As Nails line. Each bottle of nail polish I have bought from them has performed just as I needed them to. Being a mom, I can have problems with polish chipping as I go about my daily routine. Being a mom can be hard on every part of you, and your nails are no exception. I love this brand because they help keep my nails strong, and it take a lot more to chip the nail polish than just a nick.
You can also find great nail polish through Avon or Mary Kay. They have about any color you can want, and the quality is very high. These types are made to last, and are made to take the abuse you dish out each day. Some are made for nail health, and you can find clear coats to help you feel made up without the color, and while protecting your nails at the same time.
Many people don’t stick to just one brand of nail polish, and they have a collection of many kinds. I have some that I bought just for the color, and others that I have bought for the durability they offer. Sometimes you need a color of nail polish to last all week, and other times, you just want a funky color for a weekend event, or to wear when you are feeling silly. Buy the good stuff, but don’t pass up a sixty-nine cent bottle if you just love the color.
