Active Wear

Alternative Herbal Medicine
Do you have any health issues that burden you on a regular basis? This is certainly one of the negatives of life. Physical and mental afflictions .....
You know, I observed something the other day and it has been bugging me ever since. Active wear has most certainly turned into in-active wear somewhere along the line. It is just undeniable. I would imagine when clothing manufacturers started this whole idea of making clothing that would breathe easily, move with a person and be comfortable while exercising, they didn’t imagine that this line of clothing would become the epitome of laziness in our society.

Take a look around you while you are out in a store some time. I can almost guarantee you that you will see hoards of people donning active wear, including yoga pants, athletic pants and track suits. Now, take into consideration that a very small portion of society is actually in shape and exercises regularly, much less that all of the people you see in the store at that given time just happened to come from the gym or from a long walk or jog. Most likely the people you see wearing this active wear expended the most energy they will that day by dragging themselves off of the couch and into the car to go to the store.

While many people do actually use active wear for its intended purpose during a workout, the majority are wearing these articles of clothing out of comfort, laziness and possibly what they consider style purposes. Do an online search for active wear and you will find something that you already know. You will see that major fashion retailers like the Gap are now producing and selling active wear as fashionable clothing.

The problem with this is that it is quite sloppy and is unfortunately trying to serve two purposes at opposite ends of the spectrum. Wearing this type of clothing automatically puts one into a state of mind of comfort, which in turn makes it feel like you are going to go to bed and not go out in public. Actually, many people have turned active wear into their lounge wear and pajamas. Therefore people wearing these clothes into public put absolutely no effort into getting ready to go out, and in fact may have just rolled out of bed! How is this fashionable? Put some real clothing on. You’re not fooling anyone into thinking that you just did a long arduous workout. And why on earth is this still called active wear when it is equated with bed time in most households?
